104 MPH this past weekend.

As much as I hate to admit this, I'm actually jealous of something Tennessee baseball has that LSU doesn't
Also, how tf did this guy end up playing college baseball and is not in the MLB right now

My uncle was like that. He grew from a very average size to near 6'5 after he graduated HS. It's more common for guys than folks realize.

Hell the pitch before that was 103 and the one before that was 102

College hitters have no chance against that. None.If he works hard on his change and breaking ball and has no tells he'll be like Nolan Ryan.
Here it comes deal with it, but you can't just sit on the fast ball. Ryan had that heater but he got a lot of people with a devastating 12-6 curve that rolled off a table, it was unfair.

Props to the kid. That's amazing.

At one point in Houston he threw an 83 mph breaking ball. He is what we were missing last year.

People on this board will downvote the most innocuous comments. Hell, I've seen posters get mad when you say something nice (but not nice enough in their opinion) about their teams or a player.

Nobody cares. I've seen faster at the Hoover Met by Birmingham Barons pitchers

Not that it really matters about the downvote. But young Ben has a chance to be one hell of a closer. The Viles best enjoy watching him this year, he won't be back.
