Is perimeter scoring. If you lock down Schofield, the other shooters are very inconsistent. Bowden, Turner and Bone shoot 3s at 28 to 36%. A poor shooting night against a team able to match UT’s bigs will lead to some losses.

Lamonte Turner 3pt% since his shoulder has been fully healed: 47%
Jordan Bowden since conference play started: 41%
If you shut down Schofield (you can’t btw), Bowden can go for 20 off the bench. If Bowden isn’t playing well, Lamonte can go for 20 off the bench. You aren’t stopping all 3 as well as Grant, Kyle, and Bone

Turner was 40% last year and has been even better than that since returning from injury. Was abysmal for that 3 game stretch in November when playing through the shoulder injury.
Bowden is streaky. Need him to be hot entering the tournament.

Let it play out and see who is wrong, and who is right. I have no reason to be jelly, this isn't something I take personally, just giving my honest opinion based on our time in the Big 12 when he was there.

Dude relax, I have no prob with Tenn or Barnes. I've responded in two different threads that was Tenn basketball related. Again, I like Barnes, he is a class act, I just know from my Big 12 days, there is limitations that comes along with him. Nothing more, nothing less. He has done an incredible job since going to Tenn, I give him kudos for that. Bookmark this thread, and if he gets you guys to the Final Four, I will gladly eat crow and congratulate Tenn and Barnes.
