Tennessee State player upgraded to stable condition

That player who collapsed against vanderbilt and had emergency brain surgery has been upgraded to stable condition and has been breathing on his own for 24 hours.

Just thought I'd pass this update along since people have occasionally inquired about his condition.

The story doesn't say. Just that it happened on an inauspicious play, that he's breathing on his own and he squeezed his mom's hand really hard.

Fantastic news!

Vanderbilt Medical is freaking amazing. Kid is lucky as hell he was so close to them when he got injured.

Wow hadn’t heard thst this had happened. Glad he’s breathing on his own and seemingly “better”.

I think they still don’t know if it was a football-induced injury or a stroke.
