Tennessee Stadium Capacity

Imagine it being 2021, in the SEC, and your stadium seats 5000 fans at the max. Poverty programs like Tennessee should not be allowed to host a regional. If you can’t hold at least 10k for a Super Regional it should be played at a neutral site.

I’m honestly shocked Tennessee doesn’t have more capacity.
Sewell-Thomas has a capacity of 8500. With the ability for more along the outfield terrace. Not that we are close to being a host. But one can dream.

Maybe if you didn’t have losing SEC record you could be hosting? Capacity will be at least doubled in the next couple of years.

Seriously, Tennessee needs to expand capacity even if it is just shipping in some temporary bleachers, or borrowing some chairs from the local high school

We should have played ourselves into a hosting position but s baseball stadium that size is just embarrassing.
