Not a great team. A good team that’s thin and has no faith in its QB.

WR group is a very good solid group with size or speed but not really elite at either

QB room is a wreck. Gitmo should have transferred in the summer, Maurer is injured/off field mental stuff, Shrout is not an SEC QB, Bailey is the future but missed spring, Holiday is an WR now, Hill transferred out.

TE is below average

OLine has talent and size but lacks an identity

RB is good enough as a group to compete in the SEC

DL is too thin but has a solid foundation

LB has a solid deep talented group but not elite (outside of Henry)

DB as a group is solid but Covid has forced them out of position and killed depth

Pruitt has recruited 3 decent 4* QBs since he arrived. 2 are on campus and 1 is a solid recruit. So it’s responsible to assume the QB issue is temporary and fixable.

I would probably look at Tee Martin or Chip Long to replace Chaney or Weinke this offseason.
