I heard Tenn called Jones and offered him the job back and even he declined. Said he prefers to whittle.

Les Miles is such an obvious choice. I can't believe they haven't reached out to him. I also believe UT could do a WHOLE lot worse than Sumlin. Like Doeren they were trying to hire earlier, for instance.

I think Les would be an awful choice. Do people remember how bleh LSU was his last few years? And that was with rosters FILLED with NFL talent.
His last 2+ years LSU went 19-10 and 10-8 in the SEC.

I get all that, but how long has it been since UT had a roster filled with NFL talent?
