Both have been steamrolled by the Tigers for two straight seasons. Obviously huge aspirations for both programs moving forward but they can't be getting killed by Mizzou on the reg. Both travel to CoMo this year, will either one walk away victorious?

I'd say Florida has the better chance, but Tennessee will play them hard.

The reason missouri has been a pretty tough out lately is because of lock, who is no longer there. It wouldn't shock me for them to go 0-2 against ut/uf, although as of htis second I would predict a split.

I think Missouri has a better team then folks think they do. I could see them winning both of those games, especially at home.

The only issue I see with Mizzou is that it is a QB based system and Kelly Bryant might shine there... or might do what one more then one highly touted transfer QB has done at a new school and crater.

I'd actually go the other direction. Tenner IMO has a better chance. If Missouris QB and Roundtree stay healthy I'm actually expecting them to be more of a running team this year and Tennessees rush defense was better than Floridas last year.

Plus most of Floridas team will have transferred, become ineligible, been deported for invalid student visas and or be requesting new roomate assignments at the county jail by Mid November.

Drew Lock owned our asses. Glad he’s gone.

Mizzou has a tough stretch before we play them, that should help. But we could easily lose to them. I do think we have a shot.

I don't disagree, but Missouri understands the need for balance. Not to mention, if they can run QB draws and some power concepts, that Lock couldn't? You might be dead on, but it be the sole reason Mizzou wins. Idk, man. So many different things to consider, I do enjoy the speculation.

Thanks for the great scouting service btw. The 3 commits you held for us will really help replenish the roster. Keep them coming.

With nothing to play for with the post season ban they may play flat especially towards the end of the season, or play with everything they’ve got.

If it’s the former I don’t see us beating them

Tennessee will get steamrolled (again )

As for Florida, that will be a game to watch... Definitely our premier home game for the year, that doesn't hurt us.

Mizzou had near 50/50 run/pass play percentage last year. Will probably be more RPO, but I expect a balance as we return a lot of production at WR and TE with Albert O.

Should be a fun offense to watch.

Honestly, who is taking over for Lock at MZ?

I wonder if it will be more of a plug and play? Or if they will scheme to implement individual skill sets. I think it should be a mix, and probably will be.

Mizzou is going to be a tough out for everyone this year so I could see them beating Florida at their place. Mizzou actually has a favorable home schedule .... just now noticing that.

They might torch the Vols although I am not as big on Kelly Bryant as some are. He’s mobile as frick and can extend plays but he’s an average passer. It’ll be interesting to see how Dooley manages to use him in the new Mizzou system.

I expect a mix. Part of the reason Bryant came to Mizzou was to get more prepared for the NFL. That means getting his passing game going.

But, there's no way you get a QB like Bryant with his running ability, and don't utilize it.

There should be many designed run plays for Bryant, read option, and I expect Bryant to scramble on anything that breaks down.

Plus Bryant was playing with high 4 and 5 stars in every position around him. He will be middle of the road SEC QB. Certainly a noticeable drop off from Lock.
