5016 days since UTK's last win over a Top 10 team.

Thanks, Joe Tereshinski III.

And somehow the board thinks Tennessee hasn't underachieved the most this century lol

That is astoundingly pathetic. You'd almost have to intentionally try to not accidentally slip up and win one of those at some point.

We’ve had some really good coaches the past 13 years so this is surprising.

Feels like an Ultimate Warrior trivia question

Also Alabama responsible for 13 of the 33

It does pale in comparison to Missouri's 1-15 record vs top 10 opponents since 2008. Granted, they do double that number of wins if you go back to 2007 where they beat Kansas and add another loss to finish up 2-16. So Missouri has played 18 top 10 opponents in that time span and Tennessee has played 33. Maybe someday UT can reach that high level of performance.

You'd have to hope so. Maybe y'all can get to Atlanta again one day, but you might have to ask those Yankees for directions.

Fulmer sold out the Vols in his crusade to try and bring down Alabama. It worked, for a time, but karma is a bitch. Because of Fulmer's antics, Alabama has the longest streak of wins on the Vols ever.

Because of Fulmer's antics, Alabama has another legendary coach that will break Coach Bryant's NC total at Alabama (Coach Bryant has 6, Coach Saban 5, two more to go.

I think the emergence of Georgia and Bama in the mid 2000s really hurt Tennessee's recruiting, but still they should've done better it's not like they're Nebraska having to recruit all over the country

Tennessee hiring the two worst coaches in program history back to back hurt recruiting.

Fulmer mailed it in on the trail after 2004, like most old coaches tend to do.

Kiffin came in and had an elite class lined up before bouncing to USC.

Dooley and Lyle are two of the worst coaches to ever work in this conference. No surprise both could not recruit worth a shite going up against Bama, Auburn, Georgia, and Florida.

Pruitt will have back to back top 10 classes despite us not showing much on the field. Our inherent recruiting struggles are way overblown.

Yeah I see people say that firing Fulmer was premature, but it seemed like the talent level was slipping after 2005, just botched the coaching search

I would expect that Stat from Vandy, but didn't Vandy jump up and bite UGA once when Richt had them in the Top10

You can't beat a Top10 Team in 13 years, damn that's a lot of shitty FB
