It had a sticker indicating it was checked before the game so I’m very unsure what the problem was

Only way to get around I would think would be to get a sticker made and put it on the different bat. Seems like a bunch of nonsense that anyone would do all of that.

It’s no coincidence the Corbin story from 2009 came out a few days ago and then the refs check the bats after the first hit.

They didn’t eject Beck or Vitello who was cussing them out. Makes me think it was something small that ultimately came down to a judgement call
