I wish Auburn fans would have pulled down LSU's in '99 just to add to the whole cigar thing and really piss them off.

y'all would've never made it out the stadium.

If I'm not mistaken I think LSU tore them down after the UGA game in 03. I think I even remember the great Dandy Don saying he hoped that would be the last time we ever did that, and we haven't since.
Surprised this lasted till the second page before someone brought up the Bluegrass Miracle

I was at the 1983 Auburn victory over Alabama 23-22, which broke a 10 year period of Alabama dominance. Was Bear Bryants last Iron Bowl.

We tore the goal posts down that day, and I was one of them. There was a picture of me on the front page of the birmingham news sitting on the goal posts.

Even though I don't like it, Alabama fans did tear down the goalposts at least once in our history. Someone on another site had these pictures.

1978 Sugar Bowl; Bama beats Ohio State 35-6.

Hopefully that is the last time that Bama fans did this.

I wonder what game I was thinking of then. I could of sworn we had since the UT game in 2000. Thought it was UGA in 03, granted I was fricked up as a football bat that day

MSU did it in 98 when we beat Arkansas and resulted in us winning the West.

Bama doesn't do shite like that because we expect to win...all of the time.

We'll frick up a tree after a loss, though.

Yes and the week after was that UGA game. I remember the University being pretty strict on making sure it didnt happen again for at least a while because as it turns out replacing goal posts on a weekly basis could get pretty expensive.

After that, the University installed folding goalposts. If you watch the end of our games, security lines up along the student section to keep people off the field -- and then they fold down the goalposts.

Do you have to heat that up in a spoon like heroin?

Can I buy those things from a "dealer" in the U.S. or do I have to go to Mexico for them?

If I got all of my teeth pulled to get dentures would they give me a bottle?

Does anyone know where any pharmaceutical warehouses are located?

TIA

04 was probably the last time ours were taken down, they installed retractable ones after that so in any big win the stadium crew immediately lower them to the ground.
