South Carolina: returns the majority of an offensive unit (under Muschamp, noted offensive guru) that averaged 40+ in the back half of the year. Defensively returns and brings in talent that will no doubt heal over the offseason.
Tennessee: inconsistent as hell, but has had multiple games where they played over their heads and the second year in Pruitts system can only raise the bar. Plus much more favorable schedule.
LSU: defense reloads every year seemingly, offense showed improvement throughout the year and return Burrow who I think is a very good QB, very gutsy and tough player.
Ole miss: the defense HAS to be better, right? And I like what I see talent wise from Corral, as he grows he will be a monster to deal with.
Arkansas: second year under Morris, the scheme change from I formation and big huge lineman to a spread was going to be difficult and had moments where the potential showed this year, as the team grows into what Morris envisions, they’re definitely not going 2-10 again so definite improvement.

Glad to see the gamecocks getting an early start on the offseason title, but I don’t think anyone can challenge the big orange Vol machine this year.

Some schedule highlights:

Bama
@UGA
UK
UF
App State
@A&M
Clemson

We'll be better, but our record may not indicate it.

So now discussing our likely improvement next year equates to an offseason title?

I didn’t even bother adding Alabama to the list cause improvement from dominance isn’t even fair. Maybe teams figure out Tua next year and he doesn’t have quite the season, and that helps everyone? I honestly don’t know but just kick the crap out of the clemtards for us all.

Georgia is a very young team and we're getting Zeus back from a season long injury which makes our running game even stronger

Losing 3 first round talents on offense plus a solid starting QB, plus another very good receiver, plus 2/3 of our starting offensive line plus our "best" defensive backs from an experience stand point. Not to mention there will be next to zero fan support for this staff or team next year.

Not gonna be pretty in oxford chief.

What string will he be? I don’t see him cracking into the lineup. Y’all have like 5 very good tailbacks, Zeus will be behind the 8ball his entire career.

As far as Ole Miss goes, y’all get better by subtraction on defense. The product y’all put out this year on that side of the ball is absolutely horrid. Offense y’all seem to pump out QB and WR talent. I’m not concerned about ole miss offensively

In 2016, the defense was historically bad. We all said that there's no way the defense could be worse than 2016. We were wrong. Then we said the 2018 squad couldn't possibly be any worse than the 4–8 2017 squad, especially with North Texas and Colorado State on the schedule instead of Michigan. We were wrong.

We can absolutely be as bad as 2–10 next year. I'm not falling into this trap for like the fourth time in one decade.

Setting the bad at “better than 2-10” might be a bit sad, we are EASILY going to be a 3-9 team and if the ball bounces our way a few times we might be 3-9 with a couple OT losses.

Seriously though, our defense should be better but our offensive line will continue to be very offensive and will set the tone for any kind of point scoring we plan to do...this isn’t 1977 where a decent defense is enough to win some games. We won’t be dominant just acceptable, but our offense will be so bad that I don’t anticipate it showing up anywhere other than maybe quitting later in the game than this year.

Why? We were really bad offensively this year when playing any defense with a pusle.

bad players are still bad

SC: As always you’ll be the walking wounded by game 6 unless Muschamp parts ways with Dillman. 8 years 2 different programs show he is doing something wrong in the offseason. Nobody has more injuries every year than Muschamp.
Tenn: We’ll see Pruitt will have to recruit like Kirby to get them over the hump with the style of football he wants to play.
LSU: Burrow returns, Fulton, Delpit, Stevens, Phillips, anchoring the D. The back 7 will be good. How’s that D-Line progress over the offseason? John Emery gives them a much needed boost to the running game. Definitely could be better.
Ole Miss: Losing a lot of Reciever Talent, Corral will need a real QB coach to reign him in. Benito Jones is better than people think and will be missed on that D, even as bad as they were. Probably not much better.
Arkansas: I have no idea Bryant may make them good enough for a upset somewhere next year though.
Just my thoughts.

Alabama- They're likely going to have 15 returning starters next year. They're going to better than this year's team.
