Wouldn’t surprise me if Asa backtracks.

Those poor fools in California haven't been outside in a year.

This. People are ready to get outside and enjoy each other's company, again.

50% capacity indoors and no restrictions on outdoors.

Baseball stadiums about to be packed in Mississippi.

Not so fast my friend. Both Starkville and Oxford have very liberal local leadership. They will likely try to keep restrictions in some form.

If I’m not mistaken Starkville has no control over MSU activities on campus. I think it’s technically out of city limits

I may go to a USM game just to take it all in.

I checked and I’m right, MSU is not in Starkville city limits. City tried to annex it in 2017 and it failed

So Starkville can’t say anything about on campus crowds

I fully expect the University or Arkansas, Asa Hutchinson and the phags running Fayetteville to fully clutch their pearls and slow walk/backtrack any kind of full re-opening of sports.

I guarantee that Asa will not lift a finger until the state basketball tournament is over... Which is going to be the final week of March because of the snow delays.

If that's the case then there will 100% still be a capacity restriction. Ole Miss's AD has released a statement saying they have to meet with the SEC about it.

Hattiesburg mayor just announced the city will be maintaining its mask mandate, "for the foreseeable future."

The outfield at Swayze belongs to the city of Oxford. Inside the outfield belongs to the University.

I slept in my Mazda pickup truck back seat one night in Hattiesburg

Too poor for a hotel room

It was actually cold that night, in fricking Hattiesburg. I don't remember what month it was.
