The other shoe has dropped. Free agency is here.

I mean, just give free transfers. What on earth was Martell's argument? Isn't he from Vegas?

He was the ultimate test case because he has absolutely no grounds for hardship and is moving to somewhere that is arguably even further from home because of a fear of competition from an incoming transfer.

Martell is 100% the canary in the coal mine

Right... Pretty sure you're right, LV played at Bishop Gorman. "Hardship"... I'd like to move about as far as possible from LV in the contiguous US (sure, Maine would be 300 miles farther or so... but cut me some slack)... for family reasons.

Pretty sure he used Urban Meyer's resignation as his hardship. "Sudden" coaching change.

I agree. They should just drop the pretences and just go ahead with full blown free agency. That's pretty much what it is already

Let's be honest it would have been pretty messed up if the NCAA let Fields transfer to OSU for absolutely no legitimate reason and then they block Tate Martell from transferring away.

They will start getting paid pretty soon and I don't do pro sports. Can somebody point me toward the nearest hunting and fishing store?
