Amazing what happens when there are fewer hits to the head.

Kids are learning how to play and the new standard that all must be confirmed is also helping.

You shouldn’t have posted this thread.

Now that this stat has become public, the NCAA is going to make up for this by calling targeting more than ever for the rest of 2019.

Yes, I’m sure these types of stats aren’t regularly shared with them. Hurry! There’s still time to take it down before they see!

It looks like programs are actually working on fundamentals and teaching proper form tackling.

That eliminates these potential targeting infractions:

Launch--a player leaving his feet to attack an opponent by an upward and forward thrust of the body to make forcible contact in the head or neck area.

Lowering the head before attacking by initiating forcible contact with the crown of his helmet.

Leading with [remove helmet--that's bullshite, see below], shoulder forearm, fist, hand or elbow to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area.

Now, if they could simply remove this shite, we could have football back again:

A crouch followed by an upward and forward thrust to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area, even though one or both feet are still on the ground. -- bullshite!!! DOES IT APPLY BOTH WAYS? OFFENSE TOO?

Leading with helmet. -- THAT IS frickING IMPOSSIBLE, bullshite, AND WHAT ABOUT THE frickING BALL CARRIER? IT NEVER APPLIES TO THEM!!!!

Rant off.
