12-15 on the weekend and not chosen SEC player of the week. That's an .800 batting average.

Vanderbilt’s Stephen Scott has been recognized as the Southeastern Conference player of the week after helping lift the No. 2 Commodores to the SEC regular-season title over the weekend, the league office announced Monday. In four games last week, the Cary, N.C., native batted .615 (8-for-13) while walloping four home runs and accounting for 21 total bases. Scott recorded three multiple-hit games at Kentucky while notching seven hits and three homers on the weekend.

Allen didn't hit any home runs in the weekend series, and Scott hit 3. That was probably what put Scott on top, along with the fact that Vandy won the conference regular season title.

Chicks dig the long ball.
