Generally the mix between caps and no caps indicates sarcasm. From what I’ve seen their fans hate the Big 10.

I do think Nebraska kind of got the shaft as far as where they were sent. They won the Big 10 by 4 games and got sent to play the #1 team in the country. Conversely, Michigan is #89 in the RPI and got sent to South Bend and #59 Maryland to ECU.

None of it makes sense to me. It's like they had their top seeds and then they had each coach throw darts at a map.

It really does seem like the 2-4 seeds for every regional is totally random.
You have 16-32 Jacksonville playing #11 ODU and 20-28 Southern playing #2 Texas. You’d think Arkansas would draw one of those two.

They usually try to do a good job limiting travel and putting teams as close to home as they reasonably can. This year they seemingly just threw teams in regionals at random. But yes, I’m aware LSU is a 3seed. Thanks for pointing that out.
