So what, I have better things to do then look up every SEC's Qbs over the last 10 years or so but what other SEC team has their last 3 QB's in the league now? You sound just stupid with your reply, I am sure you would blow any NFL GM to pull in the checks each of those guys do.

Blow an NFL GM - nope, I don't care if you would though

Don't care about any of the bench riders you have in the NFL.

Do care that your last QB the entered the draft is a chicken chit that won't stand in the pocket and make good throws. I hope he improves and am willing to give him this year to show it but he had the worst rookie season in the history of rookie seasons. He sucked and there's no way to sugar coat it. Congrats to him for tricking our GM but that's no big accomplishment. Draftees do it to him every year.

For the Mizzou/aTm discussion, where is the connection? Aggies are loaded year in/year out, Mizzou not so much, according to recruiting "experts". You have seen the record. Give me coaching over stars everytime. Bama has the best of both worlds, stacked talent and coaching. tejas is a perfect example.....top 5 class every year and where have they been recently?

Really? A rookie QB had a bad year? That NEVER happens.

Mizzou also gets hurt by the rivals "bias" if you will. If bama offers a player then he will likely end up being no lower than a 4* player just because(same can be said of ND, texa$, and some of the other big boys). I've followed recruiting for quite a few years now and actually watched a player with a good offer list go down to a 3* after committing to mizzou or at the very least never get the 4* they deserve. I still agree that getting as many 5* as possible is the best plan, but we don't all have that luxury.

To be honest I trust the scouting of my coaching staff over some supposed "expert" that works for rivals. They know probably little more than all of us.

This is all I care about. I don't give a damn if the team is full of uncoordinated, unathletic dorks, as long as they're winning. Mizzou has never pulled in highly rated classes but has done just fine anyways. Winning is more important than talent to me.

Mizzou won't be playing Iowa State,K-State,Kansas and Colorado on a yearly basis anymore either. How have ya'll done the last 10 yrs vs Texas,Oklahoma and Nebraska? How has Big 12 done against lower seeded SEC teams in Cotton and Independence Bowls?

you make the same argument arky fans do. you assume he's taking three stars over 4 and 5 stars. He's getting who he can get, not turning away higher rated players in favor of "diamonds in the rough."

Not looking up the entire Big 12 results, but I know we beat Arkansas. Beyond that, I'm going to guess SEC has the upper hand.

Yes,SEC has upper hand by a big margin. How have ya'll done against Texas,OU and Nebraska since Big 12 was formed? According to Rivals, they recruit much better than Missouri.

Oh I agree Gabbert has huge issues and though I am pulling for him, his instincts are way off for the NFL. Being though that this is a college issue he was a pretty good college QB that obviously has some real tools.

Oh but you do as you say there is no talent at Mizzou and 5 1st Round picks in the last 3 years shows that you are wrong. I do agree that overall depth and weakness on the O-Line will b e a major hurdle going forward. That and our shitty OC.

Gabbert had issues which most Mizzou fans railed about too, happy feet especially. FACT though is the last. 3 Mizzou QBs draw NFL checks

iMO, Gabbert should not have been starting this year. He needed to be on a team where he could understudy an experienced NFL QB for a year or two before starting. He was only, what, 21 years old, coming out as a junior? He needed another year or two of seasoning first.

No, no, rookies have a bad year all the time. It does however take a special talent to have the worst rookie season for a QB ever.

Please tell me all the outstanding WRs he had to throw to. Or that bottom of the NFL ranked pass blocking he received. I think its hillarious people really blame a rookie QB for that teams failures last year.

Gabbert really wasn't that good at Mizzou. His happy feet in the pocket ended up in many costly turnovers. Dude has a cannon though.
