I hope this is a joke

Okay, so tell me this. If we consistently get worse recruits than A&M, why have we been consistently kicking their asses in football?

Legit question? I guess we shouldn't put a lot of value on recruit rankings...

aTm's recruiting classes are historically better than ours if you are looking at stars. Having said that, we've held our own against them on the field.

They beat us in overtime, and Pinkel is a much better coach than Sherman. That's why Sherman was fired. From a pure individual talent standpoint we are ahead of them.

Mizzou 5-1 vs. TAMU the last 6 meetings going back to 2002.

Miss St. of the East is probably a good choice of words. However in a head to head, I thinks Merlin's would kill em.

How about players to the NFL? Anybody got these numbers? I will bet Mizzou is no lower than 5th in the SEC for 1st round draft picks in the last 5 years.

No idea. Total numbers, though, Mizzou is for sure near the bottom with only 16 players.

I'm pretty sure we have 18 and you have 16, so that's pretty close with a slight advantage to us. That's also after one of our worst decades of football and a couple shitty coaches.

Arky is a better comparison. Mizzou has been to a BCS bowl at least. Miss State will likely never get to one.

i dunno about talent, but confidence wise #2 or #3. They plan on wrecking shop this year according to their fans.

talent wise, i would say in 10th or 11th place.

mizzoukills thoughts on the upcoming season in case anyone didn't see it:

quote:

we'll end the season over .500 in our first year. No less than 8 wins. And, no explanation is needed.

quote:

yes, yes we will. And I'll remember to drive it home after the season ends. There'll be no shortage of threads citing the embarrassing twat ramming that other SEC schools experienced at the hands of Mizzou.

And trust me...there will be several embarrassments at being the schools who lost to the noob.

quote:

You seriously are the King of Trolls. A&M beats us by 7 plus?!!! Are you fricking kidding me? Do you even know what Mizzou's done to A&M lately at College Station?

A&M will lose to Mizzou for the 3rd year in a row at College Station.

Kentucky a toss up? I just shite my pants. Really, I think I laughed so hard that I sharted.

Tennessee will get arse rammed.

Vandy...well, at least you gave us that one.

South Carolina will be hard. It can go either way. But I don't think they're better than Mizzou. I think they're about even. So, of course in that situation I'm going with Mizzou.

Florida will get their salad tossed, and that will be the news of the day on ESPN.

Georgia will be interesting. They should win, but they're playing in Columbia and they'll underestimate us like the rest of y'all will. They'll most likely win, but that could be the upset of the week right there.

Alabama...Mizzou will lose. But, I think we'll play it'll be close until the 4th quarter.

Therefore, most probable losses: Georgia and Alabama. Likely losses: South Carolina.

Everyone else on this list can't compete with us this year.
