Alabama has won 27 straight non-Ole Miss SEC games. Alabama's last loss to a SEC team not named Ole Miss was the Kick Six, which was 3.5 seasons ago.

Alabama vs the SEC (2014-2017)
4-0 vs Arkansas
4-0 vs Texas A&M
3-0 vs Auburn
3-0 vs LSU
3-0 vs Florida
3-0 vs Mississippi State
3-0 vs Tennessee
1-0 vs Georgia
1-0 vs Kentucky
1-0 vs Missouri
1-0 vs Vanderbilt

2-2 vs Ole Miss

to the Landsharks. It was worth it.

People jokingly ask us this considering the shite storm that came out of it.

But it was. 100%. And I would hope we'd do it all again if given the opportunity.

You act like we wouldn't have had a decade of terrible teams without cheating. The choices were either mediocrity, or a couple awesome years followed by mediocrity. Totally worth it.

Let's be honest about those "awesome years". They were not exactly stellar by any sense. Still failed to win 10 regular season games.

Dear God I hope A&M is never in a spot where literally ending our program over a 9 win season is considered to be worth it

That was always a myth, especially in football.

Your idea of an awesome year is somewhat different from my own. Ole Miss went a combined 19-7 from 2014-15. Alabama went a combined 26-3 over that same period of time.

yet your team wont achieve what Ole Miss did during those "less than stellar" years unless they take the same route, or until Saban retires. let that sink in

Alabama set in motion the behind the scenes takedown of the Ole Miss program because of those 2 losses. They are the Illuminati of college football

I think the commitment of Laremy Tunsil to Ole Miss was the catalyst for everything that happened next:

quote:

Entering the final two weeks before Signing Day, Tunsil had apparently narrowed his field to Alabama and Georgia. Ole Miss made a late push, with Friday's news making the Rebels sound like the sudden and surprising favorite. As Tunsil told reporters after his visit to Oxford, he was "confused" as to where to go:

"Oh man, it surprised me a lot," Tunsil said with a smile on his face. "I didn't think they would have many things to show me, but it was real good. I didn't think their facilities were like that. They showed me all of that. I didn't think the program would change as fast as it has."

The Benjamins, combined with Beaver's high class prostitutes, are what swayed Tunsil to Oxford.
