Arkansas stands a good chance at ending the Rebs' season...as long as they don't have to field a foul pop behind first base to do it.

You sure that’s correct? There’s really nothing too great about that.
As to the OP, everyone will be picking Arky in this one ... at home, Arky is better team, OleMiss always finds a way to miss Omaha. All that said, i think the Rebs win this one. Gut feeling.

Yeah, doesn't sound that impressive.
They say the staff has been jelling of late. I wouldn't know. I can't watch baseball games, because they always lose if I watch.
And yes, I watch football anyway.

I wouldn't bet on this series with your money.
Arky is fantastic at home, but ole miss is really damn hot right now (odd, since they wanted to fire their coach 3-4 weeks ago).
Should be a great series.

We used to have a pretty heated football rivalry back in the day too. I can’t remember the year, but there was a huge brawl after one particularly controversial finish and they canceled the series afterwards for many years.

Frank Broyles canceled the Ole Miss series. Said that playing Johnny Vaughts teams left them bruised up and not healthy for his conference games...true story. look it up

There was a huge brawl throughout the stadium after the 1960 game though, we kicked a field goal to win it but Arkansas claims they called time out and that the kick was no good. They played the next year because it was already scheduled but then canceled it indefinitely, until it was rescheduled in 1981.

yep, the slanted goal post game, in little rock. my pops told me about it, and I read about it in Coach Vaughts autobiography REBEL COACH.
