The Big 12 is usually a lot deeper than 2 good teams I feel like. Usually they have 2-3 teams in the 10-25 range as well.
Shame because the Alamo bowl is always an awesome game.

Everybody here knows I’m an OU fan. One of my best friends is very much involved with the bowl selection process with the big 12. He said Texas was all for it and A&M officials threw a fit to the SEC.

Clearly your friend is very much involved if he doesn't know that, after the New Year's Six, the ALAMO gets the next choice.

Considering those teams had a much bigger claim to numbers 3 or 4 in the big 12 than Texas I’d say they should have wanted that.
If you’re suggesting it’s a money thing, wel I certainly get it.
