Georgia has the weakest schedule in the SEC.

Georgia gauntlet schedule. Just write the word giant pussy on your jerseys.
The defending champs 2023.
The defending champs 2023.

That's just a terrible metric to determine overall SOS.
They played three extra post-season games against teams with good records, and FCS Samford at 11–2, which drags this average up tremendously.
To make it to that postseason, during the regular season you're left with:
10-3 Oregon
8-5 South Carolina
5-7 Kent State
6-7 Missouri
5-7 Auburn
5-7 Vanderbilt
6-7 Florida
11-2 Tennessee
9-4 Mississippi State
7-6 Kentucky
5-7 Georgia Tech
=================
77-62 (0.554)
Which barely averages a winning record.
Georgia had the best team in the country last year. But to say their schedule was anywhere near the toughest in America is disingenuous.

So is it a good metric or not?

Not per the metric that the NCAA uses.

They don't put a big emphasis on readin' & cipherin' down on the Plains, huh?

Ya'll won the National Championship. Does any other metric beyond that really even matter?

Go start another Q thread on the poli board. That’s where you belong.

It’s a horrible metric. It weighs a game against Samford the same as a game against Ohio St.

It's not, and for that exact reason.
Nothing about overall records is weighted appropriately to determine this. It's based on averages that don't apply evenly across the board.
For example, accepting this overall assertion would make 11-2 Samford the "toughest" team that Georgia played up until the CFP.

From last week? How long would Missouri fans celebrate a title?

Wow, nobody even respectable OOC, Aub and Ole Miss from the West...that is the kind of schedule that gets you left out of the playoff if you choke a game.

The good ol' ad hom. You could've just said you had nothing to contribute. Instead, you proved it. Bravo.

So you perceive the SEC as that weak? Let’s say we lose one @AU, but we win all the rest and best LSU in the SECC, you think we get left out?
