He says that a Mississippi State fan threw a boot at him on the field after he made an error. Said it had a rope attached to it.

That was his point. Said you can bet that the guy looked for him after the game to feed him even though he was giving Theriot shite during the game.

Heard him tell a story about the worst minor league stadium he played in. Said there was a guy that brought a toaster to every game... and they even let him run an extension cord. If you struck out the guy would crumbled up toast and throw it at you as you walked back to the dugout and yell "YOU'RE TOAST!"
