Wonder how a pro team from the 80's would do vs todays Alabama, thinking they'd get destroyed.

If they played against the 85 BEARS or the 86 GIANTS they’d need at least 3 QB’s and more deep because those D’s would have killed the first 2 before the 1st half.

If Georgia's defense is the '85 Bears... what does that make South Carolina's (in the context of our game with UK). They scored 16 points against us.. yes they turned the ball over 3 times, but still. 16-10!? AGAINST SC?

Pretty sure an NFL team would score more on them than the Bears defense

In this day and age of offenses putting up points on anyone it is pretty historic. Just have to wait to see if it continues.

Sometimes I feel like everyone here is either too young or too old to pick up on very basic stuff.

The 85 Bears gave up 15 ppg.
The 21 Dawgs are giving up 5 ppg.
Dumb comparison

The only way to beat UGA's defense is throwing the ball. Cause you ain't running on them.

It isnt that simple. Georgia can create pressure in the pass rush.
It has to be balance (but yes... if you cant throw, then you are DOA).

I think with a mobile qb, y'all are vulnerable to the deep pass.
Only problem is there are very few teams that can do it. If any.

I dont think you need a mobile QB.
There is no defense for the perfect placement.
The challenge for our opposing QBs is to make perfect placement consistently.
Mac Jones. Joe Burrow. There are a few college QBs who were that consistent. Mac wasnt mobile.

Id say they would beat the 85 bears. Most of those guys are 60 years old now

To me, the defense UGA has is more closely identified with Alabama's 2011 squad. The numbers, etc., more closely align with that team, imo.
Stoops is exaggerating par excellence. It won't work.
I agree. Only I think your D Line is better.
