to 2019 LSU. You guys had a GOAT team. Y'all was kangs. So, congrats from me to you. If you want to say you're the GOAT, then so be it. I won't argue it no more. Anyways ...
After Sunday, I won't bring it up again ... but I've been bringing this trophy around town and around the office ... so I figured I'd just set it here and let you fellows enjoy looking at it some more. All you had a hand in this most enjoyable win.

That’s hard to believe. I’d still want LSU to win, but I would honestly lose a little excitement about them. My enthusiasm for football has decreased in general though, so that might be part of what I imagine.

I think the type of team determines how much I look back on them after the fact.
The 2015 team will always be my #2 behind 2008/09 because of how they fought through adversity and grinded their way to a title.

That makes sense. Aside for just being an incredible season, 2019 was extra special because LSU had been so terrible passing the ball for so long.

I kinda feel the same about our '07 title. A lot of people like to shite on it and talk about backing in. But, those kids stayed locked in down the stretch and beat the snot out of the number one team for the championship.

The out of the blue ones like that are always the most special - and that LSU team had so many likeable leaders and played in a way that made them endearing even to non-LSU people like me.
They were just fun as hell to watch.
