He earned the name Ol' Ball Coach from mediocrity. He won a NC at UF from Mediocrity. He has brought USC's program from nothing due to being average.

it seems to me that the talent has been improving every year since he arrived there.Im not sure he has the pick of talent in the state like some other sec schools have in there states.I also beleive he has proven his coaching ability.

i didnt say he wasnt arrogant and lazy, i agree he is. still a great coach. but it is why he isnt a good recruiter.

Anybody with the slightest bit of football IQ can see that James Franklin is clearly outcoaching Spurrier, and will win this game with far inferior talent.

USCe isn't UF. There is not nearly the talent gap Spurrier was used to.
