No one deserves the Heisman this year.
Just skip it

I can understand why you put that little caveat about AP ranking at the end of the season but seasons change as they go on, injures, etc. The ranking is only relevant when you play them and Georgia played 3 ranked opponents during the season, Tennessee played 6, USC 4, and Ohio State 3. Now, compare the stats in those games

Yeah, because a team that's to 10 in September due to preseason hype that loses 8 games should still count as a "top 10 win". That's logical.

How is that funny? Are you suggesting beating a team with several injuries is the same as beating said team prior to injuries? Teams improve or get worse as the season goes on. What team are you referring to on any of teams discussed schedules? You seem intelligent

It is always funny when a fanbase touts "ranked when we played".
Are you new to the internet?

Dude is a gamer. He shows up with the lights come on. He’ll be a great QB coach. He’s not making an NFL roster though. Maybe practice squad.

THis is a stupid statement.
The teams faced are who they are. Anyone who played LSU, SC or any other team played the same team. It doesn't matter where they were ranked at the time of the game.
It's ridiculous to think if you beat a 10-2 team in week 2, when they were unranked, it should count differently then beating them week 12 when they're in the top 10. Current ranking (or end of season ranking once the season is over) is the only one that matters.
Your viewpoint is pure retard.
UGA didn't beat a #1 team when they beat UT. They beat the #6 team.

Hard to argue against those stats.
Pretty impressive.
I don't care about the Heisman Trophy either though.

Many here consider Ohio State to be poor competition so that may bode well for the Buckeyes!
Seriously, I hope it's a great game. It's been far too long since these two teams played.

So you believe LSU week 2 was the same team week 8, same South Carolina and any number of teams? Success has brought the geniuses out for the Georgia fan base

Yes, they are the same teams.
There's no difference in FSU beating LSU, Tennessee beating LSU, A&M beating LSU or UGA beating LSU. They all defeated the same 4-loss team. LSU playing well or poorly on a given weekend is immaterial. The margin might impact how you view those wins, but not the little number next to the team name at the time.
Same goes for SC.

I’m happy for 25 yr old Stetson Bennett sticking it to those 18 yr olds. Well done.

I have the utmost respect for what Stetson has done. Dude beats out “better” quarterbacks and then just wins. That is what you want in a QB. Good for Kirby for making the right decision. Many coaches don’t.

Which specific teams are you talking about?
A great example of injuries derailing a season is uga 2013. Uga went from top 5 to UR quality with key injuries.
This does not apply to all teams as you want it to.
