Got lucky on the Space Coast. Going right past us.

Hoping it doesn't affect the A&M vs SC game on Saturday.

No doubt. I'm from the Panhandle, live in Sarasota now family had a place on St George. This storm blew up so quickly, it's the kind of gulf storm that we all fear.

Prayers and all the best for everyone in harms way.

I agree. I know I'm a "gatorhater" but I hope everyone stays safe.

Praying for all in the path of this monster of a storm. I have been through this and I know how bad it can be!

Don't get me wrong, Katrina was bad, very bad, but it was a Cape Verde storm. It was around 160mph passing the islands. It was out there a couple of weeks before it hit NO after it weakened some and then it was the flooding and the Levees breaking that was the main issue.

This thing is a wind buzz saw and will literally blow some structures up
