Points per game: LSU 36.7 State 29.3
Points allowed/game: LSU 22 State 25
Total yards: LSU 389.3 State 406.3
Passing: LSU 303.7 State 361
Rushing: LSU 85.7 State 45.3
Yards allowed: LSU 298.7 State 317.3
Passing allowed: LSU 193 State 243.3
Rushing allowed: LSU 105.7 State 74

LSU has played the better non conference opponent, but State has three decent opponents to LSUs 1. FPI likes State whereas I kinda like LSU. But state will have a great crowd, good weather, and be kinda desperate for a win. LSU also desperate. I’m starting to believe State has a better shot here than I thought earlier in the week. And if they win, LSU…

I’ll take LSU 38-35. But I don’t feel good about it.

Based on the UCLA game, LSU's defense is basically just run around and not cover anyone.

Give me Leach

So they played 3 games & you base your expert comment on their 1st game ... So does the Gump defense suck as bad as Fla made them look with a 1 dimensional QB

Highly doubtful we even keep this one close. I'm beginning to like Leach less as a coach each Saturday. His lackadaisical attitude has rubbed off on our entire program. It's sad honestly, we used to have Mullen's little man syndrome driving us, now we're just happy to be there.

I am expecting a total rock fight. 21 points might win this game for either team. I think both defenses are pretty good and the offenses are statistically two of the worst in the league.

I'll take State in a close low scoring game only because they are the home team. Not much would surprise me though.

Our strength and conditioning has definitely suffered since Muffin’s departure.

There is only 60min in a game man. Hard to get a lot when they only come 2-3 at a time.
