Easy to see why the Southeast dominates college football.

Honestly never realized Michigan had that much in state talent.

This speaks volumes to just how good the PittBoss is. Hogs bout to take over despite having the least to work with. Meanwhile, Florida can barely break .500 with almost a 1000 NFL players. SMH

I’m kind of shocked that New Jersey has so many. I can’t think of any players from there nor do I remember there being that many top 100 recruits from there.

I think NJ HS football often gets overlooked because of Rutgers lack of success. Historically it’s been a big recruiting spot for the old “eastern independents” like Penn State, Syracuse, etc.

NY State has a bunch of small state university’s all over the place with little or no emphasis on major sports. The only “big” schools with football are Syracuse, Army maybe Cornell. Probably has a lot of wasted talent there that never has a chance. I’m surprised they have that high of a number.

Arkansas high school football is terrible. Not enough emphasis on coaching and player development. However in basketball and baseball it has boomed.

New York is a pro sport state. Syracuse used to be good but that was many years ago.

Texas has like 6 times the population of Louisiana. Why don’t they have 6 times the amount of players in the NFL?
