State with Leach versus Ole Miss and Kiffin would be unreal all year, every year.

Mike Leach is a rogue, beach bum, California Mormon who doesn’t allow alumni to influence him.
I’m not sure that northern Mississippi would be a good fit for either party.

sounds like a disaster waiting to happen but at least the rest of us can sit back and watch from afar

On the flip side Leach is fully aware and used to be the coach at a traditionally bottom tier school that is 2nd or 3rd fiddle traditionally in their own state and has to be creative in what they do and the players they go after.
Texas Tech = Washington State = Mississippi State

I don’t disagree.
But I can’t imagine he’d leave the Pacific coast for the reasons you listed.
Unless money.
He is, however, used to bells.

That’s always been the joke.

Miss state players better stay away from closets if they do.

MSU is hiring Napier. They didn’t fire Moorhead without a deal in place.

Not to mention there is the downside of Leach. Yes, you will get those transcendent "My God look at us!" 11 win seasons every now and then. You are, however, very likely to enjoy the feeling of "An FCS team just came into our stadium and ran a train on us."

He would absolutely coach there for the right money. They could get him. Probably won't, but they could.

I wish someone would so everyone would see him fail in the SEC and then shut up about him.

We haven’t recruited a WR worth a damn in decades. Please tell me why we need Leach. Holy shite people, think!

I love Leech but I don’t think he’s a good fit seeing we just had a coach tell the fan base to pound sand. We need a good players coach who can win that locker room, recruits, and fans.
I’d seriously take Les because he could do all of that.
Fun drills with Les
