Your best coach of all time leaves because Starkville sucks and UF can pay him more money, and you instantly turn on him after backing him for so long?

I mean the man brought a 10 win regular season to Starkville. We've never even done that here. Be thankful for what he did for your program, Dawgs

Enjoy your program's slow death. Don't worry about us. We're perfectly fine. Sorry we don't wish him success at Florida.

I am against him because he brought my little brothers school Ole Miss to its knees and left it in a dumpster fire. I just wish he would have showed a little mercy and not totally destroy Ole Miss.

He left because he knew firsthand he could win a natty in Gainesville.

He would've left Oxford for the same reason.

1 Week before he leaves: Man, he hates Gainesville, he's never going there, his wife hates Gainesville, too. What a great guy. We were a three win team on average for the past decade before he got here and he brought us to eight win seasons per average and we were #1 for the first time evarrrr what an amazing guy.

1 Day after he leaves:

Dude. You just hired a sideline pacing buffoon and paying him more than we are paying Moorhead. Ease up on the advice.

And yes we are envious there is a “Cheapo Depot” near Oxford. Cut us some slack.

I don't wish Mullen any ill will, even at Floridia. It is entertaining to watch his staff recruit though. First, Mullen targets MSU recruits, and yields none, meanwhile, he loses his own pledges while receiving an onslaught of gator nation criticism. He's only been on the job for a week and a half! I'd penny for Megan's thoughts.

They're finally learning he was a douchenozzel. Everyone told them, but nope, they never listened.

Only big loss was Copeland. We expected one to leave if Shannon wasn't kept and others seem to be told to head on out. No point keeping kids we can't use. He is recruiting players we didn't target before. We will see how it plays out. Not to worried till signing day. We need more defensive targets though. Need serious depth at LB and safety. So short in those positions we need at least two more Lbs for sure.

I hate the Mullen hire as much as any Gator, but even I have to admit we haven’t lost anyone that wasn’t expected with any new staff. Mac and Shannon liked to recruit the easy targets that they didn’t have to really fight for. Everyone that has decommitted beside Copeland and Chase were asked to look elsewhere. We will see what he replaces them with, probably a class full of JuCo’s seems to be what Mullen and his staff know. He has to hire another elite recruiter or he won’t recruit well enough, we’ll see if he’s smarter and can adjust better than Mac.

I can’t wait. Seriously you won’t find anyone more underwhelmed by the Mullen hire. He’s a product of good scheduling at State. It is what it is.

He's a lazy recruiter overall. He does develop said players very well though. But remains to be seen how that works at UF. He won't have the patience that State fans have. He'll have to stop letting his assistants do all of the recruiting or he won't be at UF long. Different world as far as expectations.

You are correct because Ole Miss has never had one.

Here you go gatorbait, I posted this a while back regarding Muffin

2-15 Dude
2 and 15 vs ranked op
You will get to finally see some points being scored but he can't win a big game
By the way his 2 wins vs ranked teams I believe were against Aubrun and LSU early in the year when Dak caught everyone by surprise and those 2 teams were awful that year. He later went on to beat a bad T am team as well.
Plus a lot in Starkville said he was dick
Should be entertaining with the OBC right down the hall
Have fun

You can say what you want about Mullen (and he does make some buffoon calls at times), but that dude had Mississippi State ranked #1 for five straight weeks in 2014. That was an accomplishment that I previously thought was impossible. That and he took them to 8 straight bowls, going 5-2 in them.

He's an arse
He's a lazy recruiter
He's racked up a lot of wins against a lot of Shite opponents
He's yours
We are thankful for what he built and now JM will take us further while the sinking ship in oxford continues to have players jump off
