That’s the team’s total rushes, and includes Sacks I’m pretty sure.
You are cherry picking to prove a point that's not valid. The narrative that is Leach only rushes it 10 times is false.
Every team is different and has it's on fingerprint. Just LSU will run it more this year than last year.
Just like we will run it more this year than under last year.

I always Said leading rusher and then I made A specific point to y’all about how often many attempts per game the team averages.
This isn’t cherry picked it’s more or less routine. Pick and season at random and you’ll find very similar results.
Leach doesn’t believe the ground game is that important. He actually believes it limits your options.
Now 25 touches is realistic. He’ll get a lot of passes. I just Think Hill is overrated so I don’t really care.

Ok. We will see how his offense does this year

He's usually somewhere between 15-25 rush attempts per game. Interestingly, that doesn't seem to change even when they're blowing someone out.
I'm curious if he's ever averaged 30 rushes per game in a year.

I hadn't seen LSU this scared since 21-0

There’s nothing balanced about 50-percent run, 50-percent pass, because that’s 50-percent stupid,” Leach said. “What is balanced is when you have five skill positions, if all five of them are contributing to the effort in somewhat equal fashion — that’s balanced. This notion that if you hand one guy 50 percent of the time and then you throw it to a combination of two guys the other 50 percent that you’re really balanced. You probably pat yourself on the back and tell yourself that. People have been doing that for decades. Well, then you’re delusional. That’s how I look at it.”

And I’ll say this; I love Mike Leach.
The air raid was revolutionary. He will make your team better just by coaching. He is weird and hilarious. I think Pirates are cool too.
I just don’t think he’s going to get you over the hump most years. But he’ll keep you good.

Tbh that’s fine. Unlike most fan bases on here, we know our reality and don’t have a false sense of it.

I think hes A great hire for y’all.
Worst case scenario who have a lot of fricking fun with the pirate.
Also I feel Like if he taps into those Miss. JUCOs you will be solid.

If leach can coach how many pac 12 titles did he win? He averaged 6 to 7 loses in his time at Washington state
Well he beat Oregon plenty of times also beat Stanford and USC plenty of times. This was with top 50-60 recruiting classes. I think he knows some things.

Leach benefited from the upper crust of the pac12 being down for several years.

How many times has he beat those teams when they were actually good?

In 2015 and 2018 Ducks were 9-4 when Wazzu beat them.
In 2016 the Trees were 10-3 and in 2018 they were 9-4 when Wazzu beat them.
In 2013 Trojans were 10-4 and in 2017 they were 11-3 when Wazzu beat them.

So he's never beat better than a 3 loss team in the abomination that is the PAC12.

With Washington State, which doesn’t compare to any other scenario he’s in, regardless of competition.

Leach ran for 300+ yards on my Ducks. He takes what you give.

He beat two 9-4 Oregon teams, and beat 10-2 and 11-3 USC teams.

Yeah I love the Leach hire. He will completely move away from State’s reputation built under Mullen as a ball control team that plays stout D.
Keep thinking that way. Everyone raided Leach’s defensive staff because they played well.
His teams act like they drank 8 monsters and they’re all named Kyle.
