So are you such a homer you believe OU/TU will do better playing in more intense and hostile environments 4x a year than they do a single game in the b12? Your only comparative road environment in conference is the Red River and that’s a 50/50 fan split. Even a homer if homers would look and say “yeah this is going to be a challenge for a few years.”

Yeah it was such a crowd juggernaut adjustment you lil tiggers went 7-1 in only your 2nd season (back to back division champs in '13 and '14) and aggot went 6-2 in their 1st and won @ Bama. Let's pretend not to know things so we can advance a narrative.....

Texas is the biggest game for everybody we play, big or small. Always has been.

For the SEC, that won't be the case. But I bet lotsa people show up to when Texas comes to town.

We have a proud history of winning big away games as an underdog; USC, Nebraska (ended their 47 game home win streak), Georgia (New Orleans), TAMU (most recently, last game of series).

Arkansas' hostility in '69 is legendary. Won't take long for those embers to reignite.

OU in Dallas is as loud as it gets. The Cotton Bowl keeps the noise in the stadium. Makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck.

Looking forward to playing others who are passionate about football, home and away.

How in the hell does Iowa State have the third largest stadium in a P5 conference? That has to be the smallest 3rd largest stadium in the P5 right?

It was probably TAMU and maybe even Mizzou as well as Nebraska for a while. But they all left.

ETA: TAMU was in the 80s during their big 12 life, Nebraska around 80-90, Mizzou was around 70k.

Every SEC school has larger stadiums than this except Vandy

Time to predictably shuffle the goalposts

"yeah but that was Tennessee".

We kicked FSU's arse in Doak Campbell after hearing the same prattling from them.

We kicked Notre Dame's arse in Notre Dame stadium after hearing the same prattling from them.

We kicked Ohio State's arse in the Shoe after hearing the same prattling from them.

Have a seat.

I've sat 3rd row at two Alabama/LSU games in Death Valley. I loved every minute of it, especially the tailgating, fans, & the food. Tiger Stadium was impressive & loud but they weren't even the loudest games I have been to. I think we will be alright

Which venues were louder? Do tell....

Plus the 60K+ at State is equal to about 80K with the cowbells.

That is amazing. Yeah Death Valley, The Swamp, and Jordan Hare will absolutely overwhelm them

We have a winning record in Kyle field, your biggest stadium.

Oh absolutely the stadiums will be over flowing when Texas comes to town. It’s a marquee name. Best believe DKR will be filled when Bama, LSU, UGA, etc go to Austin. Good match ups

God's honest truth. Maybe it was due to the anemic LSU offense at the time. Kyle Field during a Texas game was louder
