Not to mention that shite-fest that has been realignment, ruining regional conferences and rivalries for a lot of schools. frick ESPN.

Not sure how more media exposure than ever is bad for college football?

So you don't think every recruit in the country wants to play in the SEC in part due to seeing us on CBS or ESPN every single Saturday and every other Thursday?

they want us to play all these Thursday night games. Maybe we need to consider playing on that new network, FoxSports 1" (4/4)
He does have a good point about this. Thursday night games are garbage. Road teams are at a huge disadvantage and it totally throws off the normal preparation and recovery time for a game.

CBS, Pitbull, and, by extension, Dr. Pepper are ruining college football. This post is being done in CBS style. It will have 96 commercial breaks of 4 minutes a piece. This post will last well over 4 hours. This . . . is CBS.

Real talk though, what is the logic behind covering a non-Top 25 team's pro day vs a top 10 team's pro day?

those comments actually helped the SEC out bc now fox sports think they have a chance getting a tv contract with us, which is going to cause a bidding war between them and espn.

What is the logic behind covering [USCw]
It's all about the Matt Barkley show; he was the anointed one pre-season and then USCw tanked; now the sports media wants to resurrect the hype and glory.

I think Spurrier forgot he coaches in Columbia South Carolina.
He's been there for 8 seasons. All but two seasons have had 5 or more losses.
You go to USC and look the past 8 seasons. That trend is reversed.
If Spurrier wants a big brand name, he shouldn't have spent the last 8 seasons in Columbia.
And he shouldn't have lost 33 games in those first 6 years.
You don't hear Houston, Cincinatti, or Boise crying about ESPN's Pro Day coverage after they have a good year or two. Just the Ole Ball Coach.
Because he hasn't had a headline written about him in months. It's that time of the month for him.
