And that one isn't the shorthorns...

You know how many Top 10 finishes Texas has in the past 11 years? One. It finished No. 9 in 2018 with a 10-4 record after upsetting Georgia in the Sugar Bowl. Texas snapped a 10-year streak of losing at least four regular-season games last season, when it went 6-3.

You know what other schools have one top 10 finish in the past 11 years? Cincinnati. Iowa State, Minnesota. Washington State. Houston. Iowa. Baylor. Mississippi State. Arizona. Missouri. This is who Texas keeps company with nowadays.

You know who has MORE than one top 10 finish over the past 11 years? TCU (4). Stanford (4). Michigan State (3). UCF (2). You know how many SEC teams have more than one? Seven. And that doesn’t include Oklahoma.

So they are saying Texas isn't a top 10 program, not saying Texas isn't coming to the SEC. Thread title is confusing.

No one thinks texas is that good in football. Haven't been for a decade or more.

Best sports program in the country.

OU will come in and instantly be a upper tier competitive team. Anywhere from 8-4 to 10-2 type seasons. Although they did lose to Kansas State and Iowa State last year so maybe I give them too much credit.

tu will come in and struggle to stay in the middle of the pack. Anywhere from 5-7 to 7-5, if they managed 8-4 that would actually be an extremely good first season record for them.

Neither are capable of an 11-2, Top 5 finish like A&M or winning their division like Mizzou their first year.

How many times do I need to link the same graphs and charts to you before you finally admit this isn’t true?

Having money is only part of the equation, you have to know how to use it. How many NC has Texas won in football in the last 50 years?

And how are they wrong? Texas is living off their accomplishments from long ago.

By any measurable metric OU would be in there, by most accounts in 2nd or 3rd. Just do a quick search. Most say Alabama 1, OU 2.
