Okie state that high is strange. Still, it is true that it is wide open this year. OU is in a slump, and texas is recovering.
TCU has learned that they can't compete with a 2 tough games a season schedule, and same with WVU.
Tech will likely be improved, and could contend because Kliff Kingsbury is really that good (if he can find a qb that can learn his system fast enough.)

Texas has not started the recovery process until they get rid of Mack Brown.

I think USCe shocks a lot of people this year. Also, i think Shaw showed a little potential and if they can have a rb break out this season i like their chances. I usually root against any other SEC team but i would like for the Cocks to represent the SEC in the national championship game this year. But not if LSU made it to the SECCG of course. Good luck Cocks!

Woah.........I didn't watch that game. Y'all blew a 16 point lead to Louisiana Tech halfway through the 3rd quarter?

You mean LSU doesn't have to play the best team in the East?
This is bullshite!

I don't remember all the specifics. I just remember it was the longest football game I've ever watched (got out of the stadium after midnight) and A&M had 5 turnovers. In the Aggies' defense they were missing a lot of defensive starters, and coupled with the TO's it's easy to see how this could happen. But that was just terrible. Up (as I recall after a highlight JFF run-for-TD) by 15 late in the game in which the TV guy says "Johnny Football trying to put an end to it." and it still came down to the last series. Great game if you like close but high-scoring ones. I would have enjoyed it more if we hadn't tried to give it away with all the turnovers. Still - drove home from Shreveport happy.
La Tech was better than most here give them credit for, though. And I'm not offering that as an excuse. But look for Quinton Patton in the NFL next year - he shouldn't be hard to find.

Because LSU is pacing itself

I literally LOL'd at work. My boss looked at me like I'd lost my mind. Oh well.

Thanks. I was just thinking to myself, "I'd love to see yet another aggie love link to Johnny Manziel."

I remember hearing Tech had something like 100 snaps.

You're welcome
For what it's worth, I still haven't and probably never will get over the hook'em thing, and the guy is obviously a douchebag who likes to yank on others' chains including his fans', which I don't get at all. I was just responding to a specific post.
But every time I've watched that play he suddenly seems like less of a douche to me.
Try to picture another QB doing that. I say you can't. Shaw maybe (I base this only on his really good haircut.) AJ (who any team other than A&M would be very lucky to have): no way. Same for the others. Yeah he's a douchebag, but the guy is hyper-competitive like nobody else, sez me.

Even if for some reason USC were undefeated around wk 12 but not in the top 2 the cumulative bump from playing Clemson + the SEC West champion would put them in the BCSNCG. Not too worried a/b that.
IF we make it to the SECCG I want A&M. I think they take a step back this year, though.

I'd love to see UF play like they did last year defensively but I'm not sure they can. I'd like to see UF's offense play way better, not sure they will.
Personally I'd put UF in the mid 10-15 range and hope that Driskel plays like he knows the playbook. We will probably ride on the laurels of our Defense like we did last year.
