The Auburn hail mary chaps my arse. Also when USC thrashed UGA like 35-7 in Williams Bryce because I was there and it was miserable.

2010 vs Auburn

The "kick six" doesn't really bother me...I think Bama was gassed at the end of that game and probably would have lost in OT...so Saban had nothing to lose really in trying the 57 yard kick or whatever it was. But 2010...it was crazy to shite the bed like that in the second half after dominating nearly the entire first half. Ingram's bizarre fumble on a guaranteed TD run still haunts me.

I guess in 2013 the loss cost Bama more since they were #1 going for a NC 3peat...but as far as a game they definitely should have won... it's 2010 Auburn...even though a NC birth wasn't on the line...one of the very few times in the past 12 years where Bama played a game without a NC birth on the line, but it still stands out.

Your logic is sound. But I did not get angry in the least bit. I saw early in the 2nd quarter that Bama had came prepared and we were playing the sixth quarter of Tuscaloosa. CLM had done no meaningful game planning and it showed. I sunk into a stupor and just endured the game. I was more angry (and still am to this day) that Bama was permitted to play us twice. But the arse whuppin’ was effectively laid to us.

I don’t really get angry about losses. I do get disappointed.

2016 Clemson, 2012 Texas A&M, and 2011 LSU (November obv) are probably the most disappointing of the Saban era. Felt like Alabama was the better team entering each matchup but they played their worst game of the season so they lost.

2012 Alabama was basically the ideal model of the “early” Saban era (LSU+Alabama). That team ought to went undefeated but they played an awful 1st quarter against Aggy and that cost them an undefeated legacy. Still think that is the best team of Saban’s first four national titles.

2011 regular season loss to LSU bites because once again that team ought to have went undefeated and the rematch confirmed that Alabama did more to lose it in November than LSU did to win it.

2016 CFPCG loss to Clemson was tough because Alabama just seemed unprepared for Clemson figuring out their signals at halftime. Probably due to the OC change. Defense played out of their minds for 3 quarters against an elite offense but Alabama’s offense couldn’t get that game to the point that it was over by the 4th quarter. Probably the biggest mistake Saban has ever made was not being able to suffer Kiffin for 1 more week. Think Kiffin goofs Venables like he did the prior season and Alabama comfortably wins that game.

I lost my ever loving mind. Nearly destroyed the living room of the place I was leasing while I was at the Army War College.

Really interesting how Saban had a completely inexplicable losses in his first year at LSU and Alabama.

2016 CFPCG loss to Clemson

Definitely the most disappointing game for me considering how it ended...with the vaunted Bama D unable to get one final stop for the NC. Totally gassed because the offense was 3 and out most of the night, but I really thought the D would rise up at the end with everything on the line.

2010 au made me angry. This one just made me very sad lol.

The 2010 Iron Bowl was gut wrenching. I had no respect for Cam Newton and that squad. Luckiest, stars aligned season I’ve ever seen.

The kick six play really overshadows what a great football game that was. That 2013 Auburn I respect a lot. They played some real tough games. Should’ve never lost to FSU in the title game.

The ‘08 SEC Championship was rough. I thought we had Florida’s number that day.
