LB Micah Johnson got a 4.99 at the combine, but lowered it to the 4.7's on his pro-day.
RB Alphonso Smith (6-foot 1/4, 211), who did not work out at the combine, ran a 4.38 and 4.38 in the 40, 4.31 short shuttle and a 7.21 three-cone drill. He posted a 36-inch vertical jump, 9-9 broad jump, and 19 bench press lifts.

wow thats some impressive numbers from smith, it says he's only 211, is that accurate, and what kind of lower body does he have.

I've always thought that Spikes was a little overrated. That happens when you play at Florida with Tim Tebow, you get a lot of attention, maybe a little more than you deserve. I think he was the third best linebacker in the SEC last season behind McClain and Norwood, with Johnson from Kentucky nipping at his heels.

Spikes may be a little overrated but he was definitely one of the best LBs in the nation when he was healthy and playing his best. I'm not surprised at all with this time he's a big boy with average to below average speed. I did hear he was clocked anywhere from 4.8-5.0 though.

What did Spikes score on the eye gouge drill?

He's the number 1 pick if that's the only criteria.
