Definitely huge for the Gamecocks. USC will be a force to reckon with next year but I imagine most SEC opponents will be more prepared in 2023 than they were this season. Your team was the surprise of the conference in 2022.

Really? I don’t feel like it’s been any worse than any other program. We lost a couple of big names who were big time recruits but only gave us average production.

we are in the bottom half of the SEC of guys leaving. They are all muschamp guys. They were all arse last year....yes even Bell. he was a disappointment.
Lloyd had 2 career 100 yard games, but 6 fumbles
edmond was a backup.
Bell was given the ball too much after he cried like a baby about not getting it. we upgraded

Not sure what you are getting at…we’ve lost less production to the portal than most SEC teams.

Yes. We just got hit hard by injuries on the d line. When all were healthy he was 4-5 on the depth chart.

Bell, Burch, Lloyd and Edmond were all Muschamp guys. Totally different mindset instilled in Muschamp guys (me me me) than what is being stressed now. None were recruited here by Beamer. Lloyd STAYED pissed at the fans for shitting on Satterfield's sorry arse. Burch...well there's a backstory with Mama Burch and wanting more $. Bell..same deal with a backstory only it was his whole arse family mad he wasn't "getting enough love". Dude was hawking his South Carolina NIL merch on twitter all the way up to about 4 hrs before suddenly announcing he was outta there. Gilber was a backup to Strachan and got to play last season bc Strachan was injured and out. Strachan will be back this season. FSU says he's likely to be 3rd string there and was picked up for depth purposes. Also kinda funny that when he went on his OV to FSU he wore a Gamecock hoodie and hat.

Kind of the bigger story here is that last off season, pretty much the entire rant $#!+ on Rattler for being a pretentious "locker room cancer" diva. While he may be the first and last of those things, I don't think anyone here can say he was the "cancer" that was predicted last year.
