close to the 3:38 mark, the marching band breaks into "'Ode To Joy", which is played at the end of every football victory.

Pretty cool.

This is very nice of you to share considering it's the only way that 99% of the Georgia fans on this site will ever see a graduation ceremony.

My own undergrad ceremony was boring, not going to watch someone else's.

Solid.

To be honest, I got so fricked up the night before that I slept straight through my graduation ceremony. My mother still hasn't let that go; my parents were PISSED.

I think this right here is the closer reality for most UGA posters on this board. I actually attended my graduation, though, and even recall some of it.

I went to work immediately after my last final, decided to give my AU graduation ceremony a miss.

As it turned out, it took place during a heatwave, and dozens of grads passed out on the field at Jordan-Hare waiting for their fake diplomas

Pretty cool.
I graduated in December and it was at Stegeman. Not At All Like That

I did get to go up to Annapolis to see a buddy of mine graduate from the Naval Academy 6 months later. Replace the fireworks with several fly overs and a blue angels show. Maybe not as large a production as that graduation in the link, but a pretty damn good sendoff for their officers.

That sounds like something I would do, had I graduated.

Hopefully more graduations will be outdoors in the future. There have been some amazing ones and they are so much better than indoor arena graduations.

reminds me of my LSU graduation...I did my partying after, but there was a dude in line with me who was so fricked up he could barley stand. We had to help him put his gown up, and plop his cap on... as we processed in the people in front and behind had to make sure he didn't bite it

They spend most of the time patting the med students on the back while everyone just sits there realizing they are just the window dressing.man, that was annoying. No wonder so many doc’s have ego problems.

Didn't Beethoven write his 9th symphony in 1980?
