2018 is the year!

Best receivers in the conference.

Bentley with the QB whisperer.

Roper gone for good.

Rico dowdle back at full strength.

Deebo samuel back at full strength.

Muschamp and T-robbs defense in its 3rd year.

Uga losing every primary contributor other than Fromm.

Tennessee being broken

Florida being in year 1 of a rebuild

Mizzou having Dooley

Kentucky losing Johnson

Vandy being vandy

Who is joining the cock hype train?

Y’all have a serious chance. Week 2 in WBS against UGA is a must win if y’all want to contend for the East.

It does appear that the East is
1. Georgia
2. South Carolina

With a big gap between 2 and 3. Now the question is how big is the gap between 1 and 2 this year? Will Georgia digress enough and will South Carolina improve enough to be able to win that game in Columbia? Because that's the key if South Carolina wants to win the East.

It’s a cock lock

Uga will be in their second game with brand new personnel. We return almost all of our primary contributors.

While we lose Skai Moore and Hayden hurst, we get back Bryson Allen Williams, deebo Samuel, and kc Crosby.

This narrative has gone totally off the rails.

You lose Michel and Chubb (whose senior leadership won’t be replaced)

You lose Roquan, Bellamy, Carter and the other guy.

You lose essentially your entire secondaey.

You lose 8 on defense? Your best 2 senior rbs? Your best receiver?

Meanwhile, we get the best receiver in conference back. We return all of our offense. We don’t lose as much on defense.

We still have Snell and some good QB's(much better passers than Johnson). USC will have a good year but I think you'll have to wait till 2019 to beat us again as we get you at home this year.

Disagree.

Your streak over us is an anomaly.

You wouldn’t bet on winning that game next year

I don't bet on U.K. Football against any opponent, just saying Johnson isn't the reason we have a 4 game winning streak against you guys.

You all may beat us but I can't give you an edge with us being at home.

The reason you have a 4 game winning streak is because we've sucked arse for 3 years and this year y'all had a good team. Smacked us in the mouth, for sure.

We're back on the upswing and Kentucky will continue along the Kentucky path.

The fact that it is in week 2 gives us a chance, UGA will have a lot of new starters coming into a hostile environment. Their SEC West schedule is tougher than ours so it's a big opportunity for us.

Except Hardman, Godwin, Swift, our entire OL except Isaiah Wynn, our entire DL except John Atkins, possibly our best corner, two OLBs that will likely end up being better than Carter and Bellamy. We’re goong to be fine.

Also return 4/5 starting OL, all of our other WR, the bulk of the DL, 3 backs who were good enough to get meaningful carries despite the presence of 1 and 27. Defense loses a good bit, but we also played a ton of guys with the first team D (like 25-30 bodies depending on the game) so we return more experience than people seem to think. A lot also depends on draft decisions for Smith (likely gone), Baker, Thompson, etc.

Then we add the bulk of the 2017 class to the mix that was ranked #3 nationally but was generally afforded the opportunity to develop in backup roles this year, along with a 2018 class that will likely finish #1 nationally and is full of difference-makers.

Rivals expecting a huge dropoff are being a little optimistic, imo.

We went 5-7 in the first 2 years of the streak.

I'm not trying to talk smack, just saying it'll probably be 2019 when you all beat us, not this year.

Wat? Godwin, Hardman, Swift, Nauta, Woerner, and 4 of 5 starting offensive linemen return on Offense. Ledbetter, Clark, Thompson (possibly), Walker, Reed, McGhee, and Baker (possibly) return on defense. We also have a LOT of young talent that saw a lot PT this season. Not saying we go back to the CFP, but I’m not seeing a massive drop off next year.
