The 5th ranked and #2 Seed South Carolina Gamecocks beat the previously undefeated #1 ranked and #1 Seed Georgia Bulldogs 5-4 to win the SEC Championship for their first SEC Title in program history. The Gamecocks (20-3, 12-1) revenged their only conference loss on the season, by rendering the first loss of the season to the Lady Bulldogs (23-1, 13-0)....
