Neither side hates the other. Normally, fan confidence in their own team is low. No smack talk, and little animosity at all.

This is the most relaxed I’ve been for a South Carolina game in quite some time. Meh. Just going to watch it.

I felt the same way when they came to Starkville a couple of years ago.

The Gentlemens' Rivalry

I've never met anyone from South Carolina I didn't like. Good looking ladies, welcoming attitude, nice people, etc.

I've also never been to Myrtle Beach, so my experiences may be skewed.

That’s cause you have to look relaxed when your employer visits.

I’ve only been to one game at WBS. Miss. State @ SC. It was a blast, even though I didn’t have a dog in the fight.

Some people say the Old Miss Defense isn't ready for a game like this... but they coming/swimming?

That was the real "birth" of Sandstorm.

I think someone posted that on the USC board. Twas a brutal strike that birthed Sandstorm.

well clearly you have been afforded the good fortune on meeting Gamecocks, Paladins, Terriers, Blue Hose, Saints, Flying Fleet, Eagles, Patriots, 2 breeds of Bulldogs, Buccaneers and Cougars. we're the best our State has to offer.

May I offer the the same compliment for all my encounters with the fine folks of the Magnolia State, too.

this truly is the most chill series in the SEC. others may claim such - but the Rebels & Gamecocks stand above all.
