The next South Carolina Gamecocks football game will be played on Thursday.

TheBigSpur learned through multiple contacts on Tuesday morning that the South Carolina State game would be moved from Saturday, Oct. 1 to Thursday, Sept. 29. A time has not yet been confirmed.

I haven't really kept a close eye on Ian...I know that Friday/Saturday mid-FL was going to get hit hard but was SC expected to get bad as well?

Wouldn't be surprised to see others do the same.

I have a wedding Saturday … yikes. Supposed to have friends coming in from out of town: California and Maryland. We are all in the wedding.

Just sent a screenshot of the OP to the bride and groom. Interested to see what will happen.

The bride didn't bury a bottle of bourbon last month?

So damn retarded. It won't even be a depression when it moved up there. It'll just be rain with maybe 10mph wind gusts.

Flooding will still be a big concern.

They're calling for a ton of rain on Friday and Saturday and Columbia is prone to flooding.

yeah we could've been scheduled to play a football powerhouse like say - Maine - but fortunately it's our cousins in Orangeburg.

Logistically an easy call since they’re playing an in state foe. Curious to see what Florida does since they play a team across country. Sun belt billy wants to play this game since it’s his only shot at a bowl game
