Many in the tennis world had barely heard of him until this week. Very under the radar player who's had amazing improvement .

Not a diss in the slightest. he started his career at #6 his freshman year. Rarely do you see a player explode onto the scene like this.
It indicates that his best days may be ahead of him and that he has pro top 100 potential.

Also had won 17 straight sets coming into today's match: Nuno Borges - he was the top seed in the tournament, and as a senior, has been ranked as high as 3rd in the nation since his sophomore year at State.
Jubb and Borges came into this match having played each other twice before, this season, both matches being 3-set affairs where Jubb won the 1st set in each, but was worn down by Borges.
Today, it was looking like it was following that script, with Jubb jumping out for a 6-3 first-set win, and then the 2nd set went into a tiebreaker, but Jubb stayed strong and won the tiebreaker going away, winning the first 3 points before prevailing 7-2...

As for me as I have said before I don’t have anything against Carolina or its fans or really any school . Don’t care to troll anyone.. I have a couple friends that we have some good nature ribbing about the game for about a day or two but we know where each other very well and know we don’t mean anything by it.
Plus my wife has a masters from Carolina. She’ll kick my arse if I get obnoxious.
As for me as I have said before I don’t have anything against Carolina or its fans or really any school . Don’t care to troll anyone..
