South Carolina is expected to hire Arkansas TE Coach/Former NFL OC Dowell Loggains as their next OC.
Voted worst NFL Playcaller during his NFL tenure.
He’s a hell of a recruiter though, probably our best.

Why melt over Petrino? Besides his misdeeds with the girl at Arkansas, he is a heck of an offensive mind

Bc our fan base doesnt know much about him, I’ve heard nothing but good things personally about Petrino if we hired him, but yes, a lot of Ags are freaking out

As we should. This is one of the most tone deaf shitty hires I’ve ever seen. Beamer seriously thought the worst NFL Playcaller was his #1 guy

Yes, 10 years ago. His offense has only cracked the Top 50 in 3 out of his last 9 years, and 2 of those have been with Lamar Jackson.
If you look into his numbers, he has really fallen off or been wildly inconsistent at best since the motorcycle fiasco.
Now maybe if he’s just focusing on offense, he could put together something special. However, that brings up another problem. he hasn’t been an OC since 2002.
Would it be better than what we currently have? Yes. Would we light the world on fire offensively? I would say the chances of that are slim.
I would much rather take a chance with a lesser known guy and fail and take a guy we know has red flags and fail. However, that’s not Jimbo’s MO with assistants. He’d very much rather have the “devil you know vs. the devil you don’t”.

Im not as worried of any of that tbh. I think Petrino would put up numbers. The fact he hates half the SEC is great too

I think he still can do it. He certainly showed it against us this year.

I still root for Bobby. I've had nothing but good interactions with him. I have some great pictures of him with my 4 year old nephew from a fan day. I was just getting things signed and he asked if we wanted the pictures. He might be a huge a-hole to adults, but that guy genuinely likes children.

I was not sure about Petrino but the more I learn about him the more I love the hire.
