Our OOC schedule is stacked. Wyoming, Wichita St, UMASS, Virginia, Clemson and Stetson are all great teams. Frank has already praised this as being his most solid team he's ever coached. I wouldn't be surprised to see us finish in the top 2 in leaugue. Obviously UK, UF and Auburn will be our toughest SEC opponents.

Last played UNC in 2011, Las Vegas invitational (we lost)
Duke 2017 NCAA tourney (win)
NC state 2007 (loss)
2 of those were by way of tournaments so they weren’t OOC games we scheduled

We’ve tried scheduling all of them, they won’t do it. Old hurt feelings from when we left the ACC. Long story but the Tobacco Road crowd has been a bitch about it since.
The only way they’ll ever play us is in a tournament and only if they have to. We cut them deep. There were repercussions for years. It’s an interesting story if you really want to know.

Fairly decent non-conf. The match-up with Wichita State will be a story inside a story, as Gamecock fans have longed wanted Gregg Marshall to be hired, and apparently he campaigned for the job back when he was at Winthrop.
If we end up facing West Virginia, a match-up between former teacher-pupil in Bob Huggins and Frank Martin. Then the opponents in December in Houston, Clemson, and UVA.
I would be disappointed if we're not 5-0 heading into the Wichita St. game. I see another 4 likely wins, going 9-4 overall, possibly.....
