Lack of quality depth down low is killing this team

Got any more Tuba players?

Any tall folks on the quidditch team that may be tired of using as broom as scooter?

Horrific loss?? .... lol. We haven't had a horrific loss in basketball in over two years. Come back in a couple of years when we actually put together a team.

Sloppy game for both teams tonight...Gamecocks came out a bit better on fouls in the 2nd half, as it cost LSU both O'Bryant and Hickey for a large portion. Good luck the rest of the season, Tigers...except when we play each other again in Columbia Feb. 14th!

Also interesting: tonight's win broke a 14-game losing streak in-conference away from Columbia for the Gamecocks.....the last SEC win on the road for USC came in a 64-56 victory on Feb. 2, 2011 at......LSU...

Maybe we haven't made a full turnaround but beating LSU in BR is better than losing @State and to Auburn at home by a combined 5 points. There really wasn't anywhere to go but up from last year but before tonight it hadn't seem as if we'd improved at all. We'll see how we go from here. I only expect 3-4 more SEC wins though.

Lsu has one guy over 6'6 besides O'Bryant and he is a former tuba player. Johnny jones has a top ten recruiting class coming in with two McDonald's all Americans, so they should be much improved

So basically what you are saying is that your team, this year, is height challenged, as is ours.

I wish we had a Top Ten class coming in. We've not signed a McDonald's All-American since BJ McKie I think - the last time we won the Conference Championship I think. Crazy thing about that is that his son has committed to us and will be here in the 2013 class.

that was a bad loss for us for sure. it didnt help that our 2 best (we only have 3 even worth mentioning) players sat out a huge chunk of the 2nd half with 4 fouls. so much for the homecourt calls.

but seriously not making that out as an excuse, those were two pretty awful basketball teams last night and we ended up being the worse of the two.
