What happens to all the 4 stars that go to Tennessee?
I don't see many big transfers out?
Does Tennessee just totally erase and destroy all the talent that comes there?

I mean, it's not impossible. Pruitt hasn't done very well in week 1 games so far. If he could lose to Georgia State he could lose to South Carolina.

I wonder that too. How can they get all these classes yet be so mediocre

Half of their S&C staff are former Gamecock fb players.

Will crack a celebratory Kenny Rogers Roaster to celebrate your return.

Not the best indicator.
FPI gave Tennessee a 38% chance to win last season going into the game with South Carolina and they beat you by 3 TDs.
South Carolina had a 71% chance to win against Appalachia St and we all saw how that ended up.

Have no recollection of this at all.
Never happened.
Nope.

What were the odds that we’d beat Georgia?

Why go there? Good question!

It's actually a really good question. I hate recruiting rankings but the Top 10 is usually pretty spot on, not that it's hard to just list the same 10 blue blood every year in a random order.
But being able to have a top class consistently yet not even fielding a ranked team on Saturday seems like a huge red flag for the whole University, as its continued across several coaches.
Does Tennessee still offer, literally everyone?
I think that has something to do with it. They offer too many kids without doing real evaluations. You'd think that would be better and in the end it leaves them with a high class ranking, but ultimately they are only landing kids under recruited by other schools.

I like the Vols in this one. Two programs appear to be headed in different directions.

FPI is really, really bad though.

Here is a 4 and 5 star comparison by school/class:
Tennessee
5 star - 2 Sr, 2 So, 1 Jr (awaiting SEC Transfer Clearance)
4 star - 4 Sr, 4 Jr, 9 So, 14 Fr
USCe
5 star - 1 So, 1 Fr
4 star - 1 Sr, 8 Jr, 4 So, 11 Fr
Tennessee and South Carolina's talent numbers are actually relatively close overall to one another.
